Return Policy
At CMS Fine Jewelers, we strive to ensure your satisfaction with your purchase. If you are dissatisfied, you may return your items for a refund or in-store credit. Please carefully review the following information before initiating a return or exchange. Failure to comply with store policies may impact our ability to process your return or exchange.
Returning Your Purchase
All returned items must be sent to the following address:

You are required to send the merchandise via registered mail and purchase insurance for its full value with your carrier. If you choose not to buy insurance, you will be responsible for any damages. Please ensure that your return has tracking/delivery confirmation. Pack the items in the original outer box or a sturdy shipping box with appropriate packing materials to prevent damage during transit.
Return Conditions
You have a 15-day window to return an item after receiving it. To qualify for a return, items must be unused, with the original tag attached, in their original packaging, and in a saleable condition. Please note that personalized or custom pieces cannot be returned.
Receiving a Refund
Refunds for eligible returns will be processed using the original payment method. Alternatively, you can request a store credit instead of a cash refund. Gift recipients will receive store credit equivalent to the item's cost, which is non-refundable. Cash refunds are not available at physical locations. Please allow 10-14 business days for processing your return.Gift Returns
Gift returns without a receipt are eligible for exchanges and in-store credit only. Please return items in original packaging. Any gift that shows signs of use or wear will not be accepted for exchange.
Order Cancellations and Amendments
We make an effort to process and ship your orders within 24-48 hours; therefore, we do not accept any modifications to an order once it has been placed. If you need to return an order for any reason, please return it to us within 15 days following our return policy protocol, and we will refund your purchase. If you have made a mistake on a personalized or custom piece, please contact us as soon as possible.

Custom and Special Order Items
We regret that Special Orders are NOT returnable and require a 50% deposit. No refunds or exchanges will be given. A Special Order constitutes any merchandise ordered, custom-made, or altered at the consumer’s request.
Exchanges and Returns
Purchases can be refunded within 7 days of the purchase date, provided the original sales receipt accompanies them. If the purchase was made using a credit card, the original card must be presented for the refund. Purchases made by cash or check will be refunded via check, 10 business days from the date of sale.
The following conditions apply to all returns:
Any item that shows wear, use, or has been modified is not eligible for return or exchange.
All warranty cards must accompany the returned items.
The item must be unworn, in original condition, and in the original box.
Layaway Policy/Agreement
Duration and Payments: Layaways are available for a maximum of 90 days.
A 30% deposit is required, with three equal payments due every 30 days.
Refunds and Cancellation:
Layaways are refundable for 7 days after the purchase date.
Cancellations made between 8 and 31 days from purchase will receive store credit for the full amount paid.
If the layaway is canceled or not kept current after 30 days, the merchandise will be returned to stock, and a 20% restocking fee will be deducted from the purchase price. The remaining balance will be issued as store credit.
Repairs
Please note: Your item will be made or repaired according to the instructions provided on the front of the claim ticket. Verbal instructions are not recognized; ensure all details are in writing.
The Following Items Are Not Guaranteed
I agree to the description and conditions stated on the front and back of this ticket. Any damage or loss will be limited to the cost of the repair or the declared value, whichever is less.
Stone Treatment:
Since treatments like fracture filling, laser drilling, or other clarity/color enhancements may be undetectable, it is the customer’s responsibility to notify the jeweler of these pre-existing conditions.
The jeweler is not responsible for stones damaged due to undisclosed treatments.
A jeweler, designer, or representative of CMS Fine Jewelers may inspect the item further and determine additional work needed. You will be contacted for approval before any changes are made.
Note: We are not responsible for items left beyond 2 months.
